Temple House Practice
Keynsham Health Centre
St Clements Road
Keynsham
Bristol  BS31 1AG

Temple House Practice is a well-established family practice.  As a friendly, but dynamic and forward thinking team, we consistently achieve extremely high scores against the national quality criteria. Access is through book ahead, same day and telephone appointments and pre-bookable Saturday morning clinics.

We welcome all new patients living within our catchment area.

You can register in person at the surgery or download our registration form HERE - complete at home and either post, fax or hand deliver to the surgery. Please fill out the questionnaire as completely as possible.

Keynsham Health Park Development

On 20th July 2009 Temple House Practice re-located to new premises based on the old Keynsham Hospital site.
With us will be an attached pharmacy (opening in early 2010), the community nursing teams (District Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors), Physiotherapy and a new NHS dental service.

In addition to the large community team the Health Park will provide extensive Consultant outpatient and diagnostic facilities, enabling many local patients to be seen here rather than having to travel to a hospital.

Online Assessment of Symptoms here

If you develop a feverish illness accompanied by one or more of cough, sore throat, headache and muscle aches, you should stay at home and contact your GP by phone or seek advice from NHS Direct (0845 4647).

General infection control practices and good respiratory hand hygiene can help to reduce transmission of all viruses, including the human swine influenza. This includes:

  • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, using a tissue when possible
  • Disposing of dirty tissues promptly and carefully
  • Maintaining good basic hygiene, for example washing hands frequently with soap and water to reduce the spread of the virus from your hands to face or to other people
  • Cleaning hard surfaces (eg door handles) frequently using a normal cleaning product
  • Making sure your children follow this advice
