Our team at Temple House Practice, like so many others in healthcare at present, is currently experiencing high levels of staff shortages due to Covid-19.
Within the NHS as per national guidance, healthcare staff are unable to work at the Practice if they have tested positive for Covid so they will need to self-isoalte, they can if they are well enough, work from home offering telephone calls. The staff members we have off currently with Covid-19, are unable to work from home as they are unwell themselves.
We are doing our utmost to continue to provide the best service for all our patients. The phone lines are extremely busy, and our receptionists are doing the best they can – please be kind.
As a result, it may take longer for your call to be answered and we may need to postpone non-urgent treatment or consultations or move consultations onto telephone appointments or with a different healthcare professional.
Please use your surgery considerately – appointments can be made face-to-face, over the phone, or online for those with online access.
